Dance was my best motivator for staying positive and hopeful. My dance shoes represent a powerful emotional symbol for my cancer survival. They represent:a time when moments of pure pleasure replaced endless pain…joy during tragedy…being grateful for friends' support so I could continue to be a member of our dance circle…and looking forward.
