  •    Healing through Painting
Free painting support groups for people who have or have had cancer - and soon groups for their families, friends, and caregivers. No painting experience necessary.
  • The Heart of Healing public sculptures
An extraordinary series of multi-media sculptures now being created from meaningful objects contributed by people whose lives have been touched by cancer. It presents empowering, healing models for responding to cancer

  • Dancing with the Phoenix
One of the largest exhibits of cancer survivors' art in the U.S. Its messages of encouragement and support foster healing attitudes about cancer.

  • Community Outreach
Educating the public and health professionals about the healing power of creative expression and the availability of Arts for Healing programs.

Arts for Healing was founded by director Martia Nelson, author of Coming Home: The Return to True Self, and is sponsored by Santa Rosa Memorial Hospital Cancer Library, which is part of Santa Rosa Memorial Hospital Foundation, a 501(c)(3) not-for-profit organization.
